Beautiful property in a peaceful setting with a great view from above. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Awesome breakfast and spotless facilities. Definitely a place to recommend for relaxing and escaping the “cruise ships crowds”!Having a car is useful as the property is uphill and far from the city centre..but that’s the beauty!

The place was exactly as described- clean , comfortable, and well set up. The host was friendly, responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. The location was great , peaceful, and convenient for getting around . I really appreciate the little touches that made it feel like home . Definitely recommend and would stay again !

Phil and Marcia are generous with their time. They offered to give us rides into town. Their generosity is incredible. You can really tell they are proud of their country and the city where they live. They checked on us often making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was perfect for our trip. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked well. We even had to turn it down in the middle of the night. There was plenty of storage space. Next time we are in Ocho will will gladly stay in 12A at the Shaw Park Gem with Phil and Marcia.

He checked in on us during our stay to ensure we were well and the house cleaner stopped by to make sure we had all we needed. I would certainly recommend this place for a stay on a budget.
