Super warm and cute personal, we really love out stay at the hotel! Hotel itself is pretty good. Yeah, the building is pretty old, however it's a historical building with great architecture and people living there (it is the family hotel). Also we forgot our jackets in the hotel, but the hotel team helped and send them to us! Also once we checked out, the hotel owner shared with us super cute hand-made notebook! We really enjoyed to stay there and can recommend it for each single person!

Ahmed and Lucky's wives run the kitchen and create delicious, fresh dishes which ensured that I had little desire to eat anywhere else! It was so fresh, we'd often put in our dinner orders in mid-afternoon so the ingredients could be picked up from the market the same day. Service was on par with some of the best hotels - with seamless communication to arrange transportation, track travel details, and ensure all was the best it could be. Throughout my stay, Ahmed and Lucky were constantly finding ways to improve my experience and regularly checked that I had everything I needed (even checking on me after I had departed for further locations in my trip). The crowning jewel of the experience was the conversations. Ahmed has created an environment that attracts an excellent variety of travelers and dedicates his evenings to bringing them together and building spontaneous community. Ahmed and Lucky are engaging and candid on their own as well - providing a unique opportunity to learn about the lives and views of Bikaners. Lastly, I must give a special shout out to Lucky's side work as TukTuk driver and guide during the day. He is excellent at both, and provides the rare add-on service of a candid crash course in Indian street knowledge and market practices (if you ask).

Room and washroom very big and spacious. Everything very clean. Located on quiet street. Internet is ok; I needed wifi for a digital nomad conference call and unfortunately it did glitch a few times, but I have learned that's just the way in India, and the wifi here was better than any other place we've stayed so far. Breakfast was simple but filling.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Heart of the City homestay. Even prior to my arrival, the generosity and kindness shown to me was second to none. Rashmi and his sister Poorvi assisted me immensely with a leopard safari booking at Amagarh reserve and offered suggestions for places to eat (I highly recommend Masala Chowk) and assisted with my first ever Uber booking!! I am so grateful for their assistance during my time in Jaipur. The location of the homestay is excellent - easy walking distance to the central sights. The room was very comfortable - aircon, great hot water, tea / coffee, filtered water, fridge etc... I couldn't have asked for anything more. The laundry service was efficient. The breakfasts were also incredible - I was served a combination of western and Indian cuisines which proved to be a more than satisfying start to each day. A note to other guests - please be courteous towards your fellow travellers when conversing in the courtyard... The sounds are amplified. This is a very convenient and incredibly hospitable place to base yourself while in Jaipur. Highly recommend!!

I read all booking.com reviews before booking and after my visit from 23-27 Nov 2024, I can assure you that the reviews are correct. So, I will just share a few points. 1. The hospitality and resourcefulness of Ritik and family exceeds expectations. They will take care of you like family including getting fair price Autos and Vehicles for your city tours and trips. If you don't believe me just try on your own one day and take their help the next and you will see the difference. They give you genuine advice and suggestions. Don't hesitate to ask. 2. The property is centrally located next to local cloth market like Tripolia and tambaku market where you can shop for bedsheets, sarees, and suits. Also, shoes (jutis) and so on. Don't hesitate to trouble Ritik for it. 3. The room and bathroom are spacious and decently equipped.The food is limited compared to a proper hotel but is very tasty. Eating on the rooftop in front of the fort is an experience in itself.

Awesome location- just next to Brahma temple and pushkar lake. Staff- Dharmender was very amazing. He made sure all our needs were met. Super chirpy and sincere in sharing what he knows about pushkar and history. He goes to savitri temple everyday at 5.30am so feel free to tag along with him Food- breakfast was great. Love that it’s not a buffet and there’s less wastage. Everything is cooked fresh when requested. Generally I’ve have no negative comments on this property. It’s a well maintained, clean and spacious. Amazing staff and food.
