The room was clean and comfortable, staff was easy to reach and very friendly. I have to add that the other guests were also really friendly, the whole atmosphere was welcoming.

Staff and owners were cooperative, friendly and efficient at all times. The grounds and gardens of the property were a delight with a huge range of plants, flowers and trees, all clearly named and labelled. A comprehensive library of Assamese and English books came as a surprise. The maintenance and cleanliness of rooms and gardens are a tribute to the diligence and commitment of owners and staff.

Very good hot shower, European style comfortable mattresses. Staff and manager very attentive and friendly making every effort to help. This is a professionally run 'camp', also well aware of non-domestic traveller needs. They use solar power and a very nice touch is the caraffe of filtered water already on the dinner table. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. We would return any time with pleasure. Immer wieder gerne!

From the moment I arrived Anshuman and Anisha made me feel at home, like I was staying with old friends. The place was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well appointed, the room was spacious and comfortable and the wifi lightning fast. I enjoyed being walking distance from Paltan Bazaar with it's hustle and bustle, and it was a quick, cheap rickshaw ride into the centre of town. I'd happily recommend Golpo - Stories and Stays to anyone. Can't wait to come back.
