The property features mountain and garden views, and is 1.2 km from Doolin Cave. The guest house has family rooms. The room had a brand-new feel to it. Everything was impeccably clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was everything one could need in the room including TV, hair blower, a kettle (with tea/coffee/sugar etc.) and a shared fridge just outside the door. The views were amazing and although the location is not central, it only takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre of Doolin. Own means of transport is however recommended to get around, especially on rainy days. The house is family-run by a great couple who went beyond their way to ensure our stay was most enjoyable.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location for visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Cute town nearby. But the best part of our stay here was Breakfast. You choose what you would like the night before and it gets served as a diner style breakfast. Well done.

Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

The location was close to town with amazing views, comfortable beds, showers, lounge area and kitchen. Welcome pack on arrival was very thoughtful. Karen was an amazing host that went above and beyond. The restaurant the homestead cottage next door (off site) was a very nice experience also. I would 100% stay here again without hesitation.

The property is around 37 km from Galway Railway Station, 38 km from Cliffs of Moher and 39 km from National University of Galway. The property is non-smoking and is set 37 km from Eyre Square. We liked the large room with two comfortable beds. The refrigerator and microwave were just what we needed for our simple meals. The sunset out our window was gorgeous and added to the beautiful view. Mary Rose was very welcoming.
