Everything was absolutely amazing. Specially the staff extremely friendly, always there to have a chat and help. Superb hostel in the middle of the city but so quiet and peaceful with a lot of plants and greens. Amazing breakfast.

The people were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was very good. Room was amazing (junior suite). Price for quality was great. The staff was amazing. Super helpful. I was stung by a bee at one of the temples and had a delayed reaction. They took me to the hospital, helped translate and helped with everything. They were fantastic. Apart from that, the food was great, the bungalows were gorgeous. I'd read that there were lots of mosquitos but didn't see many.

Nice and clean room in a large garden with a great pool. The owner is very kind and brings fruit from his garden en spoils you with delicious fruit juices. At the moment, they don’t serve breakfast. But you can easily order a delicious breakfast by Grab (Asian Uber). Rumah Sawah is located just outside the hustle en bustle of the city. By Grab you are within 10 minutes (1 euro) at the trendy Jalan Prawirotamen with a lot of nice restaurants, or the Watercastle. We first stayed a few days at a luxury but impersonal hotel in the city center, but we preferred the quiet atmosphere, the kindness and the beautiful green environment of Rumah Sawah.

I stayed with my family at Omah Kepel in September 2023, and we all enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere reminds us of our grandparents' house with wooden architecture, green grass, plenty of plants, and a peaceful environment. The beds were very comfortable, excellent airflow, clean, fresh laundry scent, beautiful nature, a wood-burning stove that we could use to cook "from farm to table" meals, free & nice nasi kuning breakfast, and as a bonus: we could harvest all the fruits and vegetables from Mr. Arya's garden for free, the nicest owner we've met. And we could also harvest from the surrounding residents' gardens at a very affordable price. We harvested chili peppers, tomatoes, long beans, green beans, eggplants, papayas, and salak pondoh! We will definitely come back!
