The beds were clean and comfortable, the rooms spacious and inviting. Every room is equipped with a fan to cool down. The shared kitchen and living space is incredibly beautiful as the owner has created a green oasis with self planted plants, hanging off the walls and ceilings. The location is quiet, but close to the city centre. As a solo traveller who's never been to Indonesia before I have found exactly what I was looking for. I'd stay again, come back in a heartbeat. This place has got a fabulous vibe. One of a kind jewel.

Early next morning, I got up and heard some noise outside and I'm like omg I will be in chaotic trouble cause I just broke in someone's property. I thought I would be like "call the point" but as it turns out she's super comfortable and flexible. She didn't bother anything and welcomed me with her radiant smiling face. Also, during my stay, I asked a lot of questions and she was super informative. With huge patience, she gave answers to all of my questions. She's really a nice person with generosity and kindness beyond human imagination. Thanks a lot, Christine. I hope next time I will stay there for longer.

Rolly and Lala are fantastic hosts, we loved our stay in their homestay, which is in great walking locations from main areas and in the middle of a neighborhood. We would definetly advise anyone coming to Yogakarta to stay here. The rooms are set with great care, look wonderful with cute art and plants ( Understandably as one of them is a local artist!). They have fans to help with the heat and the futons are very comfortable. Also nice having deemer lights for the evening, not something we had often during our trip around South East Asia. It is a cold shower but that was not a problem for us in this heat, bathroom was nice and clean and again stylish! Kitchen access available for tea and coffee during the day& hot drink and lovely breakfast daily- we had the egg sandwich& fruits and coffee each time but they offered other dishes also. They made us a pack breakfast the morning we left ridiculously early for a sunrise tour. They provided us with advice on tours/things to do and we loved watching some of their traditional celebrations on our last night. We enjoyed learning about their culture and tradition a lot.
