The accommodation was amazing, we even got to sleep under the full moon on the rooftop for two nights. The sky was stunning, and the view in the early morning was breathtaking. Breakfast was made with love, using fresh fruits and other ingredients from the garden, absolutely delicious! After breakfast, Bram, the owner's nephew, showed us around the garden and all the beautiful things it has to offer. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire with Bram, who shared our stay with us. He showed us around part of the island, taking us to wonderful places, each more beautiful than the last. We even had the chance to enjoy a night with live singers at an open café-restaurant. We laughed a lot and shared so many great moments together. This place is a true haven of peace, run by passionate and kind people. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for everything, Bram ! And thank you for your lyrics too ! ;)

Amazing location, Freddy the owner is such a welcoming and warm person. He gave us so many tips about travelling through sumba and recommended us to join the sunrise trekking on the hills next to the villa. We paid only 250.000 and we got an incredible sunrise! The views were stunning and he loves to share his passion for nature and culture! The villa was in great condition and the breakfast was good. Our highlight was definitely his own weaving art. He has a little shop in the reception area with local pieces. But he mentioned that his profession is being a Weaver and he has higher quality pieces in his house. He invited us to his place and showed us all his work and we were listening to him for 1 hour. The pieces are made with such beautiful patterns ans designs. We bought one, and this is our favourite souvenir of 2 months travelling through Indonesia and Vietnam. If you stay here, make sure to talk to Freddy :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Oro Beach House. Spending an entire Sunday in the yoga area facing the ocean and having the entire beach to myself were pure luxury. The bungalows are very comfortable and clean, private and so quiet. The entire staff was very friendly and always helpful. I loved the community and family vibes. The food was excellent too. Thank you Ciska for creating such a beautiful place!

Nayla and the other girls working are lovely. Nayla helped us so much, gave us lots of useful information to move around Sumba. We were gonna stay for one night and we ended yo staying 4. Also food is very good, definitely recommend it!

The place is just amazing if you wanna get away from the crowd and relax in heaven. They treat you like royalty and make sure you feel home from the first moment. The restaurant is sublime, the beach is on your doorstep and the staff are professionals and yet super sweet and caring. We rented a scooter from them and explored the savanna, waterfalls and traditional villages. On booking breakfast is mentioned to be 13 euro but in reality it is much cheaper. Food is super delicious and very affordable. I hope they start giving cooking classes in future.
