We had our best food here, and we tried quite a lot at other places. The beach was the best on the island, the pool was great as well.

Our stay at Casa Kapuas was incredible. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally helpful with recommendations for close-by restaurants, arranging snorkelling and onward travel as well as everything in between. Fabulous place to stay, relax and unwind. Everything is within a very short distance and they have bikes available to use. Rooms were perfect with comfortable beds and a lovely hammock just outside. Would highly recommend, you won’t want to leave.

The homestay offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. What a great stay! We initially booked 3 nights, ended up sleeping 8 nights in Rangsot Inn! The accommodation, a bungalow, was clean, tidy and comfortable with a seating space outside that was very much appreciated. The Inn is operated with the help of many family members that made us feel so welcome, from the first day to the last. It is a place that feels like home, with genuine interactions and a will to share experiences. Abdul and Doni went above and beyond to help us organise trekkings, diving certification, laundry, transfers, scooter, and did it with a lot of love! Special mention to the dinners, available for extra charge (yet fair prices) that were outstanding!

We loved our week here and wanted to stay forever, the room has been beautifully built and came with a comfy big bed and duvet, the balcony up top with the beanbags was a unique touch and wonderful to relax and look over the volcano, the shower has hot water too! the village has just opened for tourism and has really nice waterfalls away from the regularly visited ones near by. The owners were the most welcoming people we’ve met and really made us feel like part of the family. They also offer guides who are extremely friendly and speak good English to the the waterfalls and volcano, we will be back to make the hike when the season starts again (April- December)

Beautiful location among rice fields. Family run business who all looked after us so well. We had delicious food, were shown the family garden where all the food comes from, and taken on a fantastic tour of the region. We saw waterfalls, black monkeys, and were taught about the local way of life. We highly recommend staying here
