I stayed in the dorm and honestly haven’t only had the best shower, but also the best sleep ever in whole Central America! The kitchen is super well equipped and there is even a pizza delivery service straight to the hostel. How cool!!! In conclusion- DEFINITELY stay here. I promise you will love it like I do!

Volcano Atitlan is 24 km from the apartment. The property manager was extremely kind and helpful. I had a payment issue and he was very understanding and went the “extra mile” to help me with something else I needed too. 11/10 service! What a legend! The location was excellent, excellent value for money, good views of the lake from the balcony and inside. I sat and watched the lake in the afternoon, which was very nice. Very happy stay! Great space, so refreshing after a long time travelling.

The accommodation is non-smoking. - The place is a bit further (yet still within walking distance) from the main touristy area. This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

The view is absolutely incredible and a real pinch me moment every time you look outside. The hosts were so helpful with pointing out recommendations for day trips, restaurants and general tips for getting about. The apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable with all the amenities you need. Alfonso was lovely also, he kept the gardens immaculate and was always there with a smile on his face. Couldn’t recommend this place enough - it’s super easy to get to, a short water taxi from Panajachel and then a 1 minute tuk tuk up the hill. The only issue is that we didn’t book for longer!

This property is simply stunning!! We loved our chalet cabin surrounded by nature. Richard (the host) is the sweetest American guy. He cooked us delicious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and was always available to drive us back and forth to Santiago (closest town across the lake). The rooms are comfortable & cosy. You also have stunning views of 2 volcanoes from Richard’s deck, where you have breakfast.
