Amazing days. The family of Wai Makare hostel became my second family the days I was there.
Super friendly, the food was local and amazing, the place was a paradise, was literally in the nature with nothing around.
I finally had in Wai Makare the wonderful experience to know the Fiji culture and people.
I left a piece of heart in Wai Makare homestay.

The people living in the village were very friendly, best part of my stay, and welcoming. Long walks on beach and swimming, friendly dog companion.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at Wai Makare. Jay and Emily were very welcoming and we had a great time relaxing in the hammocks (right on the beach - like a postcard), eating the delicious food and participating in many activities. We especially enjoyed the village trip (1/2 hr each way by boat), learning to weave baskets and bookmarks, spearfishing, coconut husking, and playing volleyball with the young men each evening, and some great games of cards with Jay in the evenings. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
