Very close to old city walls and best preserved old city we have seen so far in Europe. Unfortunately only one night here, more to see but not enough time. Building has a lift.

Boasting mountain views, La Almazara Del Guijo features accommodation with balcony, around 13 km from Monasterio de Yuste. The property has garden and quiet street views. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. We felt very welcome and comfy. The breakfast was simple, but fair and if we needed anything else, sweet Paloma could provide. We had a 3 bedroom apartment. The room we choose had rather short beds, but luckily a 3rd room was available with a more suitable bed for my husband. We really enjoyed the village and surroundings. The hike that departs from the village is nice, but rather tough and stoney and only my son made it to the end... Carlos was very kind to show us around downstairs where there was a restaured olive mill and kind of museum.
