We had a peaceful time in Tzila. Loved the ambience, the quiet, and the location. It is located close to the touristic destinations (Wadi Al Hitan, Wadi Al Rayyan, Qaroon lake). The neighborhood itself is quiet, green, and full of pottery schools/ workshops. It's great to see the life of the locals, take a few pictures of the local mural art. The lodge is designed based on traditional old Fayoumi building style, so you can take pictures there, too. There was a breakfast included in the stay. The lodge also had some lunch options. The room cleaning is for an extra fee. The Internet situation in the whole Fayoum is not good (no wifi), so before traveling remember to get a sim card with a decent data package.

Furniture was good, location directly on Qarun lake. All the villa facilities and the roof with its special poem room were open and easily accessible. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. The place was very good indeed. It was quiet and spacious. The beds were wide. The leaving room is separate from kitchen and bedroom. No problem with the shower and hot water. The breakfast was traditional for this area: flatbread, honey and cheese. We liked it very much.
