The Gaia hotel is managed under an Italian Dominican couple. For us it was one of the best hotels we met here. Everything was super clean. Here you can see and notice the influence of European style and leadership. The junior suite was really great. The whole building is modern and stylishly furnished. It is located in a quiet and safe area in Puerto Plata. The room girls are absolutely great and do a perfect job. Breakfast was prepared every day with love and passion. There are also shops nearby. We can unconditionally recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone. We will come here again to this beautiful place of peace and coziness. Thank you Marina and Donino and the whole team for a few wonderful days.

Is quite large and good for short or long stay. Location is not quite in the middle of town but easy walking to it. Jacuzzi and pool are great.

Located right on Cabarete Beach, Ultravioleta Boutique Residences offers a private beach area with sun loungers and infinity-edge swimming pool facing the ocean. Free WiFi is available throughout. Surfbreak B&B is located a 4-minute walk from Encuentro beach, and features two outdoor swimming pools, a communal kitchen, a yoga studio, free WiFi and free parking. The breakfast is also included. "My stay at Surfbreak was the best of the best. The place is perfect for traveling alone or with friends. It has the ideal mix between the privacy of a hotel, because it has private rooms with private bathrooms, but it also offers a shared kitchen and common areas where you can meet other guests and connect with people. I traveled alone and met people with whom I later went out to some bars and surfing. Plus, being able to use the shared kitchen to store my food and cook was key to saving some money. The hosts are extremely helpful and always available for whatever you need. It’s run by the owners, which always adds an extra touch. The location is ideal for those who want to surf or do any kind of water sport. It’s just a 10-minute walk from perfect waves. I RECOMMEND IT 1000 TIMES. WITHOUT A DOUBT, IT’S MY PLACE FOR MY NEXT VACATION."
