He was attentive to our needs. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. We had a balcony where we could sit in the evening sun.

Our host was incredibly accommodating and obviously takes great pride in caring for her guests. She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had!
