Located within 17 km of Herrenchiemsee and 35 km of Max Aicher Arena in Seeon-Seebruck, Truchtling Appartements offers accommodation with seating area. Excellent standard of accommodation, better than I expected. There was a well stocked kitchen and spacing living room with access to a garden. Excellent views. No noise so we were able to rest well. There was somewhere to park out bikes in a securely locked garage. The host was extremely kind and responsive to all questions. The cleanliness level was high, and bathroom was very modern and spacious. A baby bed was brought into our room which was perfectly suited to our child.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Ferienwohnungen Bachblick is situated in Übersee, 27 km from Max Aicher Arena and 29 km from Herrenchiemsee. The cozy apartment (with kitchen) had everything we needed. The room was very clean with a very nice and large bathroom. The location was very quiet, but in the small town of Ubersee, a short drive to Lake Chiemsee and about a 1 hour drive to Berchtesgaden National park.

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Gästehaus Lechner is situated in Bernau am Chiemsee, 29 km from Erl Festival Theatre and 29 km from Erl Passion Play Theatre. The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. She recommended several local things to do. The room was great, everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and filling and friendly. We met a couple who have been coming to the same hotel for 35 years! If that doesn’t tell you that it’s quality… !! The WiFi was excellent and even reached the beautiful outside area, where we sat the whole evening enjoying the fresh air.

Pension Langerspacher, a property with a terrace, is located in Grabenstätt, 26 km from Herrenchiemsee, 40 km from Klessheim Castle, as well as 43 km from Europark. Our favourite place we stayed on our entire trip. It's such a beautiful home, and it feels like you're staying with friends. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and want to make sure you have a great trip. The breakfast is exceptional, truly. Easily parked out front every day. The town is lovely and peaceful, but close to the highway for ease of travel. It was a great base for Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, etc.

This guest house is situated in the Hammer district on the outskirts of Siegsdorf, in the Chiemgau Alps. The view was amazing, the room was so nice and comfortable, it was quiet and clean. Breakfast was very good. The owner was so welcoming and nice.

This was a delightful stay and we couldn't have asked for more from our first visit to this area. The room was spacious, with easy access to the extensive garden really well kept with flowers and our own little terrace area to relax on. There was shade in the garden on a sunny day, and lovely views of the mountains and lake which we could reach easily. The garden was full of birdsong including a cuckoo! The breakfast was outstanding, the staff friendly, many spoke English and there was free home made cake in reception! Also a bonus to have access to a communal kettle and a fridge to make our own drinks/packed lunch. The town of Seebruck had much to offer us: bikes to hire, the lake to swim in, ferries to small islands of historic interest and plenty of cafes and ice cream outlets! Be aware the cafes close some evenings so check and book as needed. The community was very friendly to us and we loved staying there. Bus service good to and from the train stations.
