Well-equipped kitchen. Everything spotless. Can warmly recommend this place.

The hosts and staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and welcoming! the room was clean and comfortable. Do not take note to previous reviews about no hot water! The shower was hot!! The breakfast was served at our table and there was plenty of variety. We will be back!

You can see the unique sunset from there and in the night there are lots of shiny stars on the sky. The Hostel owner Ivan is really sweet and open. We immediately felt like family. He have us some tips and we cooked together. The kitchen is really clean and you can find everything you need. The breakfast is also really good and yummi. It is totally worth coming to Kaza Ladera, i would denenitly recommend it :)

I'm at a loss for words to convey how delightful this stay was! The room and bed were exceptionally comfortable, offering an incredible mountain view. The staff was exceedingly welcoming, friendly, and warm, and the food, while generously portioned, was truly exceptional. As a starting point for hikes, this location is perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The villa consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 3 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the villa. The property has an outdoor dining area. We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

Cesària Evora Airport is 66 km from the property. Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The appt is really huge - 3 bedrooms, spacious dining room, kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tableware and cookware. However, the shops in Ponta do Sol are really tiny, so if you're travelling by car I'd suggest to do your grocery shopping in bigger villages (e.g. we've found a relatively big shop in Ribeira Grande) or even before departing Mindelo, especially if you want to purchase alcohol. Anyway, if you don't want to cook yourself, there are several cafes/restaurants nearby, but I suggest to book the place for dinner in advance, as the best places are fully booked. Good wi-fi, plenty of parking place on the street nearby, key is left in the locker box, so you don't have to worry about time of arrival. The host is very sweet and helpful - she has sent all the precise instructions on whatsapp in advance and it was very easy to contact her anytime.
