Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. We just got back from staying here for a week and LOVED IT! They gave us a few complementary things (coconuts, bottle of wine, etc. during the stay and just seemed genuinely happy to have us! The bungalows are awesome, with A/C in the bedrooms (extremely necessary). We were with our 18 month old toddler and the following was awesome with a kid: - less than a block’s walk to the beach (chill dirt road) - ground level bungalow and fully gated property so pretty safe for her to run around - a smaller pool in addition to the big pool that she could stand in (she’s 80 cm tall) and has an umbrella so it can be fully shaded - had her own air-conditioned room (and they provided a big pack-n-play/crib) - no breakfast, but just 50 m toward the beach is an amazing breakfast place that we went to every morning (Bridgett’s Ranch - so many animals, wild and domesticated!)

The accommodation is fairly basic, but had everything we needed. Loved the outside kitchen. The host, Monica, was very helpful and even arranged a dentist appointment for us when my wife broke a tooth. The great thing is the location, right on the edge of the national park and less than a 5 minute walk into Cahuita. We were lucky to see 15-20 howler monkeys in the garden as well as capuchin monkeys and an agouti. We actually saw more wildlife while chilling out at the property than we saw in the national park.

Located in Cahuita, 10 minutes’ drive from the National Park, Oceanfront La Diosa Nature Lodge features an outdoor pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea and is only a 3 minute walk from the biggest beach... Perfect stay, great breakfast and very friendly and helpfull staff. We liked the calm atmosphere a lot. Well maintained garden, close to the sea.

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge is a bed and breakfast hotel located 3 km from Cahuita centre. and 300 metres from National Park Cahuita. It felt very homelike here. The owners, a lovely french couple, were very welcoming and helpful. The facility is top - there is a kitchen for the guests, a pool and even a grill.

The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

Just 50 metres from the beach, Hotel El Encanto is located in Cahuita and features a pool and a restaurant. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and private terraces. The location was good and the grounds were beautiful.
