The apartment was very well cleaned. Beds well made and the towels were folded decoratively with a small flower. The breakfast was excellent.

We had a great stay ! A special thanks to the hosts, both so kind and accessible, doing everything to make us comfortable ! The room was super neat and cosy, very close to the airport (ideal for our one night stay), I recommend !

Beautiful chalet, secluded enough to see monkeys and beautiful birds but close enough to town and to Parque Volcan Tenorio to make it convenient. Hosts were very kind and clearly willing to work on any single detail to make the stay enjoyable (a bottle of rose as a gift upon arrival, games for kids, a full well equipped kitchen... nothing was missing). I highly recommend the place.

This studio is in a quiet and safe place. You need 4 mn to reach the center on foot. Walking at night is not a problem. There are restaurants and a small bakery around 200 m . This studio is completely new. The bed is huge and comfortable. Large TV. Fridge. Microwave. 2 plates and cutlery. This room is large, plenty of space. Wifi perfect. Umberto the owner is a very friendly and quiet person. Bathroom good size, clean. Hot shower.

This property was definitely a highlight of Costa Rica for us. It is close to town but still feels like you’re immersed in nature. The communal kitchen and laundry means the place feels like home and they’re well appointed. The hosts are incredible and can help you organise and transport or tours you’re interested in. The rooms are so comfortable and luxurious and the price is incredible for what you get!

We enjoyed the apartment so much that we ended up extending our stay for one extra night. Adrian was very welcoming and efficient when I arrived. Then Olga was extremely caring and friendly for the rest of our stay. Both of them gave us lots of tips and helped us with transportation to interesting places and the airport. We found the flat cozy and very clean with lots of attention to detail. It contains everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. The location is quiet in a residential area, but close to Alajuela center.

Great location, very close to airport, restaurant, banking, parks. Jennette was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. I was there to sleep before an early flight and appreciated the quiet homey feel without any loud guests coming in and out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Arenal Descanso. The family hosting us was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was great. Especially, the Gallo pinto :) we loved to sit in the pretty garden watching the birds for the breakfast. Closeby are many restaurants and a river where you can swing into the water using a rope. It's fun!
