Charlie and his family have a beautiful property. They are kind, welcoming, and very helpful with finding tours and places to visit. They have an amazing guide named Santos that can take you on the tours of pink dolphins or across the river to Peru for a hike in the forest. We stayed in a comfortable studio, and had breakfast and lunch cooked for us on site. It is a beautiful family environment, and you also have the privacy of the studio. Perfect place for a vacation!

We are Canadian so we only stayed two nights because we are not accustomed to the heat (no A/C) but other than that we would have enjoyed doing more of the activities. We enjoyed the dolphins and a walk in town. The people in the community were friendly and welcoming and there is a little museum which is very interesting to get a sense of the community. At the hotel Elizabetta and her colleagues took good care of us when we needed something. We borrowed binoculars, and they ran to the store for us once when we asked for a soda (turns out they don’t carry that, just water). It’s an ecolodge, so if you don’t come expecting a 5 star hotel, and you can be a gracious guest in a native community, you will enjoy. Speaking a little Spanish will really helped us.

This is a nice condo in easy walking distance to many stores, parks and restaurants. We stayed there after a multi-day excursion in the jungle and it suited our needs perfectly. For those from the US, the washing machine is a bit odd, but we figured it out. It's worth noting that one of the bedrooms is outside of the AC zone. All of the beds are comfortable and the wifi was good. The host was very responsive.

We had incredible adventures, including a night walk through the jungle, a canoe ride on the river, and an amazing trip to a neighboring community in Peru. The chance to observe the stunning nature up close was truly special. The food was delicious, and the comfort exceeded our expectations. If only we could have stayed longer!
