I have to start from words “I don’t have enough words” to explain how amazing was our stay in this lovely place. So, I will try. Manager and owner Kate very nice and kind person. She helped us to make reservations for many attractions. Also she always been in touch with us, provided information about interesting spots, food places, tickets etc. Big bonus - Kate can speak English very well. Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! Loved this little "inn" on the pedestrian walkway right outside numerous restaurants and souvenir shops and people watching galore. Hard to find so enquire with owner before arriving as your taxi can't drive you to door. Hotel is everything one would want with a comfortable bed/linens, free water, cleanliness a priority, view spectacular and friendly staff who were so helpful and even spoke English for extra understanding. I loved this place for the cost it was super. Stayed only 3 nights but would love to go back for more. Location was perfect for tours and walking to river for cruises. Don't miss the handmade yogurt shop two doors down for the best fresh fruit/yogurt with nuts you'll ever try. And Rosewood Cafe for some international food which like me you might be craving is you are a foreigner and tired of oily veggies and rice!

As a climber you who is travelling you wouldn't find a better place to stay in yangshuo, comfortable beds, beautiful people and partners to climb with and even hang boards to stay strong even in off rainy days I loved this place 5 years ago, and still love it now even more and I think in the future I will keep on enjoying being there

This has been the best hotel we’ve been in China so far. Jason and the ladies working there have been outstanding with us, giving us total attention. From the day one they arranged the transportation for us, kept the kitchen open so we could have dinner, and help us with everything. Jason speaks perfect English which helped a lot and the ladies prepared excellent food. The hotel is located in a unique place.

I loved that this hotel was smack in the middle of the beautiful karst scenery. The hotel had bikes available to rent and provided a wonderful biking route to see lush greenery, flowers, the Yulong river, ancient Chinese bridges and even a little village from the Ming era. The hotel staff was so helpful and warm. The on site restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinners. Highly recommend staying here!

Nicely designed, with remnants of old house deliberately kept to retain a bit of history. Interior is very clean with comfy beds and room layout. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful in making our trip such an enjoyable and memorable one! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to be back!
