we really enjoyed having the pool to ourselves, being able to relax in tranquility.
the air-conditioning inside was a bonus escape from the heat at the time of year we travelled.
all cooking utensils you could need.
Waking up to the sounds of the forest The room was spacious enough, and the wi-fi in our particular cottage worked surprisingly well. The breakfast was excellent. There is a restaurant for a no-frills dinner within walking distance. Make sure you bring a flashlight! The outside bathroom was not a problem. The Maya village of San Marcos can easily be walked to.
