Waterside Cottages & Villas - Self Catering is located on the banks of the Notwane River, a 14 km drive from Gaborone CBD. I was very impressed. Zero bureaucracy, respectful of my privacy, didn't have to make copies of my passport and credit card like I had to do at all 3 previous hotels I have visited in Africa (Nairobi, Lagos, and Johannesburg). There was an issue with the main property gate where a thunderstorm rendered it inoperable and they fixed it with little fuss. Overall very impressed.

The owners of the property were very welcoming and hospitable. It was very clean and cosy. The area is quiet, so I was able to sleep in without being disturbed. Very close to shopping complex and eateries so it was quite convenient. Will definitely be coming back

We loved the tranquility and view from the balcony especially in the evening and morning. Absolutely lovely hideout😁 They added a shower as I had suggested once before and styled the apartment in a subtle but tasteful manner. The host really understands what guests need. The UPS is a God send and although we didn't get any power-cuts, it always gives us peace of mind that our experience will not be interrupted We were pretty close to Gamecity Mall so we had fun at the arcade and enjoyed a meal at one of the restaurants. Very clutch☺️👌
