We were greeted by the friendly owners, who treated us to coffee, raki, and oranges from the garden. We chatted with a mixture of Albanian, English, Italian and Google translate. Our room had a fridge, a balcony with garden views, and a very comfortable bed. The shared kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. There are also laundry facilities. The guest house is in a fantastic location, only 10 minutes walk from the beach and away from the busy beach strip. There are plenty of markets around. The guest house is 50 minutes walk from Durrës bus station. Fantastic hosts, who were incredibly generous and kind, and fulfilled all of our requests and needs.

The Arial penthouse suites are very close to the beach, I'd say about a 5 minute walk. There's also food and drink options near the beach. Parking is included. We got upgraded to one of the suites and it was lovely! It was basically an apartment with a kitchenette, a little living room, a bedroom and a shower. It also had a little terrace in front. Loved how there were well kept flowers too. The bed was okay, not supercomfortable but also not too bad. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough. The hosts are very lovely and kind people. I also appreciate them not barging in or bothering us cuz we checked out a bit later. The breakfast was good! Loved it! It was great value for money, I recommend.

I’ve never stayed in a cleaner room. It was amazing that even the balcony was very clean considering the dust coming from olive trees. I can’t manage it in my own house. The beds were comfortable. A/C and mini fridge were working well. Breakfast was nutritious and tasty. Most importantly the hosting couple was very friendly and helpful although they can’t speak English well. Very suitable for families.
