+ Very good facilities: Super comfy beds (2 pillows), curtains, big lockers, heather in the rooms as well as common areas (it was around 5 °C when I was there), massage chair + check-in in the middle of the night as the nightbus arrived way before check-in time => This hostel saved my Vietnam trip. My phone had gotten lost on the night bus to Ninh Binh and the owner made everything within her power to help me get it back (call the bus company, accompaning me to the police station , driving me to the bus station). And guess what, I got the phone back! Would go back again and again

It is a beautiful hidden place with only a small amount of houses to stay. It is a very beautiful and peaceful. Also, the hosts were really friendly and warm. We used google translate quite a lot to communicate and that went very smooth. They are very hard working people and sweet, and did everything to make our 4 night stay as good as possible. In the morning there are beautiful sounds of birds and an amazing breakfast, which varies a bit every morning. The swimmingpool is great and we rented both scooters and bikes with the hosts, which were working fine. All in all, this place has been our most favorite place to stay over the past two months.

We had a wonderful 3 days at Nha Lua Homestay and could easily have spent a whole week here. Although the accommodation is a little away from the tourist centers of Ninh Binh and Tam Coc (approx. 30-35 min by scooter or cab from the bus stop in Tam Coc, ~300,000 Dong), it offers all the more peace and authenticity. The rooms are very tasteful and super clean. The garden with many plants and the pool in the middle is wonderful, it feels like you're swimming in the middle of the jungle. The owners built everything themselves and are incredibly hospitable and helpful. For example, we were allowed to leave our luggage in another room on check-out day and use the bathroom and shower there free of charge. Both breakfast and dinner are freshly prepared, beautifully presented and very tasty. Totally fair value for money! Scooters can be rented at the accommodation for 150,000 dong/day, so you can quickly reach all the attractions in the region and get a taste of 'real life' in Vietnam along the way. We would stay here again anytime and can fully recommend it! We wish Hoang and his family all the best :)

Absolutely everything. The views were incredible, I felt so lucky to wake up to this every day. The family hosting were so accommodating, such a kind, happy and beautiful family. The breakfast was so tasty, the rooms were to a high standard. I loved the bath it’s nice and deep and lovely hot water. We hired bikes from the family and enjoyed cycling. One side is all nature and exploring the other side is the town with restaurants shops etc. location was absolutely perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a lovely escape, but also to be well looked after by the family.
