Peaceful, nice staff, great foods, Good value for money.This place is not far from the center, we went down the street and around Cat Ba island by motorbike, we rented a motorbike, booked a tour to visit Lan Ha Bay here, if you have the opportunity to come here, you should eat here. This place is incredible. The crew were very welcoming and warm, the room was beautiful and full of detail, including a window to the sea below the floating home, and many carefully designed spots to just lay down and enjoy the landscape. They arranged all the transportation for us, even picking is up at Viet Hai after a cruise trip, and trip back to Hanoi by boat/taxi/bus. Besides the human side, what is most stunning in this place is the fact that you get to spend the night in a really unique settlement, call the 'supermarket boat' if you need anything, or sail to a fisherman house to buy some fish to cook for yourself, getting a glimpse of the life in this special corner of earth. I would recommend it in a thousand lifes!

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, a good combination of laid back but attentive if you need anything. The breakfast and coffee made a great way to start the day, and the foot baths were a good way to end it. Room was cute, with a small desk and table and chairs outside. Overall the garden area was prettier than the photos.

Everything was clean, comfortable, big bed, nightstand with electric plugs, balcony with plants, a lot of different lights for every mood. A great place to stay! The owners are lovely, you can wash laundry or rent scooters with them and once a week they organize a family dinner where she cooks for every guest. It's a great meal for 4€ only and they serve loads of happy water. Our highlight is this homestay!
