Tran Chau Garden Home is such a lovely place to stay, and we cant recommend it enough. The rooms are simple and nothing luxurious, but you will get world class service from this lovely family. The food is excellent, yet prices very low. They even serve you a herbal foot bath in the evening - included in this extremely fair price. They helped us book our cruise in the bay which we loved, and also transport from and to Hanoi. Everything was very professional and personal! We would definately stay here again.

An amazing homestay. Everyone is lovely and helps you get the best time. The place is paradise like and easily the best homestay of Viet Hai as it is the most immersive with little bungalows blending into the garden. The bungalows are quite confortable and clean. Would stay again for sure!

I had a lovely stay here! It was really convenient to Cat Ba National Park which was my primary reason for being in Cat Ba. The host was really communicative and helpful with picking me up from the bus station and booked a bus for me to return to Hanoi as well. The food prices were reasonable. There were friendly cats and dogs on the property as well as some cute kiddos. Also on the day of my solo hike, the owner texted me in the evening to make sure I had gotten out of the woods safely - very thoughtful!

The homestay is a great place to stay if you are in Cat Ba town. The building is perfectly clean as well as my room was. The owner is a nice person, always smiling and happy to help. I rented a motorbike from him, also used laundry service and all was fine. The homestay is in the side street so there is not any noise from the main street. I can highly recommend.
