This is one of my favorite hotels on the island. I love coming here and I’m always welcomed with open arms. The staff, the food are the rooms are just amazing. I always have to have at least 1 night here when I come to Zanzibar. The whole crew of staff are so professional and the hospitality is amazing. 😁

Great clean, comfortable apartments across from the Tembo hotel; we liked being independent but with the use of the hotel facilities. Super location with friendly, helpful staff. Arranged a walking tour of Stonetown (the guide was called Chief - he was brilliant!) and a spice farm visit via reception - they were both excellent; really good value and both with a private guide.

The service was great, they organised our taxis to and from the airport and got up at 3am to let us in as our flight arrived during the night. We were also able to leave our bags with them in the afternoon while we finished doing a bit of visiting before catching another plane to mainland Tanzania. Right in town but nice and quiet and safe.

It was wonderful being able to spend nights in an authentically traditional building with traditional rooms and furniture. It was an excellent way to explore the traditional architecture and decoration of old Zanzibar. The location is perfect. Just behind the famous praying temple and just 5 minutes to the water shores. The owner is very friendly and always eager to make your stay comfortable. The price is reasonable given the excellent location and the traditional environment. This place is a must!
