It consists of three villas, each with separate pool on the roof. The villas are surrounded by vegitation and look towards the ocean. We loved the breakfast and the tranquility of the place. The person that runs it was so sweet and gave us lots of tips and helped us get a driver for Taroko national park. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station and ten minutes to old street. Xincheng has a real village feel. It is also closer to Taroko Gorge, with buses and scooter rental at the train station. Xincheng also has a big deserted beach to go for a stroll.
