Perfect place to go diving and relax in a nice little “oasis”. Very welcoming staff members, a beautiful garden with a nice pool and some “chill-out” spots like the hammock hut, and a great coffee place. I really liked their concept of offering just drinks (and the best iced coffee I had in the Philippines) and the possibility to get your food from a nearby restaurant and eat in the garden/coffee place area. There’s a nice place right next door offering delicious vegetarian, vegan, and glutenfree options as well as Yoga lessons (Anahaw Restaurant & Yoga Studio). Rooms: I stayed in one of the new rooms and it was very spacious, comfortable beds, good shower, all great. Diving: Great and professional team of Divemaster and Instructors, making diving safe and fun. The gear they offer is top quality and the dive boat is spacious. If you stay for various days, you get your own box with for the gear you rented from them and your “spot” where you can change/hang your things. The diving is amazing - if you love muck diving the shore and coastal dives are the best. I preferred the Apo Island daytrip with the beautiful reefs and great water visibility and biodiversity. Generally, I loved Bongo Bongo Divers’ concept of signing up for the dives you like on a board with 1-2 days of notice or even shorter for afternoon dives - easy and great flexibility.

Friendly and helpful staff. The location is great although it was a bit hard to find initially. The meals were yummy but you can also cook for yourself, family and friends. Would definitely recommend it. The Dauin marine reserve is very close and the snorkelling is fantastic.

First, I'd like to thank my hosts, for their warm and genuine hospitality! I really enjoyed my stay. Your apartment is beautiful and spacious. I haven't stayed in such a new, clean, and stylish apartment in a long time. It has a private terrace with a ceiling fan and comfortable seating. Such peace and quiet (no barking dogs, no rooster noise). And a large, clean swimming pool with an artificial waterfall. Don't miss the excellent breakfast. You won't need lunch after that! Top marks for this hotel in an otherwise average city. We had two rooms at Amazi and both were great. They were set up with everything a traveler would need: storage, hangers, outlets, lighting, desk, TV, toiletries, fast wifi, plus a kettle, drinking water and cups, and instant coffee. The rooms were super clean and the linen smelled great. The towels were fluffy and thick and the shower was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. The staff were friendly and helpful. They suggested we change our room to a similar room away from the road and we had a great sleep. We ate next door at the Tiffles restaurant/cafe in the Tip Top hotel, we recommend eating there for breakfast or dinner, or grabbing baked goods to go. Amazi had everything we wanted for our short stay.
