What an amazing cottage for a romantic getaway! Lovely scenery to enjoy the outdoor bath and inside the cottage was just as nice with all the little design details. Clean. Quiet. Handy and central to many outlets, restaurants etc. Female Receptionist upon check-in was amazing. Didn’t get her name. Upon entry to room, noticed our beds weren’t twin singles. Requested beds to be split, request was followed through.

    Incredible view just outside the hustle and bustle of Auckland! Less than an hour from the airport but it felt like a remote coastal village. The property is up on a hill but it’s just 5 minutes to drive down into Piha proper where you can enjoy the beach or hike up Lion’s Rock. An espresso machine and tea-making facilities are included as well as a towel warmer in the bathroom which was a welcome amenity.
