Fantastic amenities, super friendly host, cutest wee alpacas and serene location made this a really perfect stay. Had everything we needed and more.

Ideal location for a trip into the Doubtful Sound, just a 10 minute walk from Pearl Harbour - and with a great view over lake Manapouri. Robert organized the booking of the RealNZ trip for us, and Philippa made us a very early and most delicious breakfast with fresh berries, bacon and eggs in their lovely historic B&B. We had sunny weather, so we could even go for a refreshing swim in Lake Manapouri. The Church is a nice pub just around the corner and Te Anau, with more activities, shops and restaurants, is a 20 minute drive away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The train is a wonderful place to stay in. Surprisingly big, with seating area, small kitchen, a bath tube (!) and - of course - a comfortable bed. Kym is a wonderful and helpful host. We needed an additional night and she offered us the Karusel, a new place which is not a 100% finished. Of course, she informed us about this fact. Nothing to complain about.

This Cottage was a delight. It was clean, comfortable, really well presented and maintained. The shower was brilliant, powerful and hot which is something I’ve not really found yet in NZ but this was very refreshing. Great size accommodation for a couple, a few friends or a family with 2 children - beds set up with a double and 2 singles in a separate room. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable lounge/dining areas. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Te Anau or surrounding areas. A+
