We had an amazing time at Desert Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was fantastic, offering stunning views and breathtaking sunsets that we will never forget. One of the highlights was the affordable and delicious BBQ option, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to Dead Vlei was also perfect – it made visiting the iconic site so easy and convenient. Additionally, we loved relaxing by the pool and had a great time at the bar. The entire atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and we truly felt at home. Liked it all. Simple a fantastic place to stay. Great location. Definitely one of the better options we stayed throughout our trip in Namibia. Superb!

The staff was very friendly. We arrive at 6 at night and they have set up a tent already for us with a stretcher and matrass. Our stay was very nice had lots of shade. The bathroom and kitchen sink was not far from our tent. Just remember to ask them to "stook the donkey" for hot water.
