The location is exceptional. It’s a small 3 room hotel and there’re no crowds of people. The place is quiet. The host and the staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast was really tasty with enough fruit and bottomless tea or coffee

Pico went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. He was attentive, generous and caring but never intrusive. Everything! The view from our sea-view room was beautiful, the guesthouse itself was cute and small and we felt safe and welcomed there. Great location on the island. Beautiful dinners on the beach. The staff was caring and calm. They arranged 2 baby cots for our twins which was great! Swimming with sharks, dolphins was amazing! Spent 2 weeks there and would have loved to stay more!

Everything was so well put together. The food was amazing, they helped us with excursions, whatever we needed. They picked us up at the dock, left us at the dock, took our bags, etc etc. I would recommend this place and island to everyone I know. Mosa was wonderful host. Breakfast was basic but filling. Alkina Lodge is not high end but more than adequate dwelling. Air con was much needed and one of the 2x bikini beaches was the best I had ever seen in my life. 2 restaurants on the entire island. Note if your travelling on local ferry back to Maafushi as it arrived 30mins earlier than Internet timetables state. Ask around. We did the swimming with nurse sharks and turtle snorkel with Mosa. Great place.
