It's a great place to stop along the way through the desert. This is a traditional Moroccan accommodation with a great atmosphere. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast at this hotel are excellent. It was the best meal we had in Morocco. I recommend it.

The accommodation was in a small village in a typical house near Skoura. Picturesque location. The food and stuff was excellent. The room has heating/AC. We met with the owner in downtown Skoura and followed him to the house. I recommend doing the same.

Abdou, the host is a wonderful personality. We arrived very late but he waited for us. Then he gave us dinner which was made by his wife. We talked to him, asked him all our questions. He speaks French very well. He is very heartful. He cut off some pomegranates fresh from the tree when we were saying goodbye.

We broke our journey from Marrakesh to the desert here, but it should have been a destination in itself. We really wished we had two nights so we could have spent a day exploring the area and relaxing in the beautiful garden. Lovely food and a very nice lounge area where we played games by the fire in the evening.

An absolute authentic stay in a local village. The full moon just made it all the more magical. Madame and Mohammed s hospitality , despite language barriers. Thanks for the chats Mohammed. Delicious food. I could have stayed there for many days, not just 1 night . We were lucky enough to have the entire Kasbah to ourselves - as June too hot for many travellers. We definitely appreciated the swimming pool. The rooms are all different, but we had everything we needed, and appreciate the upgrade .

we liked everything! great view and comfortable beds and safe area, we enjoyed the pool and the scenery and the staff were so kind and helpful! we recommend this place a lot! it has a nice roof area where you can watch the sunset and sunrise with the view of palm trees and other vegetation as well as the surrounding buildings and village, makes for a great place to take memory pictures. The host is very friendly and so were his workers and family.

Somewhere midway between Marrakech and Merzouga, in the middle of an oasis, LE JARDIN DES GRENADIERS is a comfortable place to stay and relax. It's an authentic mud house, in an old authentic mud village, with a lovely garden. Here among the greenery and silence, you are in paradise! In the morning, only the song of the birds wakes you up! Wonderful and hearty dinner and breakfast! The host is very kind and polite and extremely friendly! Splendid place, a true paradise, highly recommended!

It was so peaceful, with beautiful views from the terraces and easy to walk through the palm trees to the village. The host was kind, responsive and cooked a delicious dinner and breakfast. We stayed here on a road trip out to the desert and it was a very welcome, restful break from travelling.

We had a very special time at Gite Chez Brahim. Although at first we were hesitant that it was so far away from the town of Skoura, we quickly came to realize that this stay with Brahim and his family was worth the extra driving. Tucked away in a rural setting, we had one of the deepest sleeps of our trip and although we only stayed one night, the generosity and kindness of Brahim was unparalleled. He also is very knowledgable with local hikes, so I highly recommend if you want to explore the mountains near his village.

Excellent place 4k outside Skoura nestled in a scape of palms and kasbahs. Very friendly, clean and with great food, the antithesis of manic Marrakech. A grand taxi will drop you neatby on the main road and it's an easy walk from there.. Rent a bike from the nearby kasbah and spend a day exploring villages and the palmerie. Highly recommended

Feel like home from the start to the end, everybody was super nice and helpful and take care of us like family. The Kasbah is located at the end of a small village, close to the next one with a river and gardens in between, it is a good start in point to visit the palm forest and the orchards. The best breakfast in Morocco😀

Incredibly unique location in a village filled with stunning mud-brick architecture. The staff and locals were absolutely wonderful! The dar was filled with authentic little details and such meticulous care. The food was beyond delicious! Looking forward to returning
