Amazing service, giving the best effort to make an unique experience. Despite camping, the rooms seems like a good hotel with large comfortable room. We stayed one night only, 2 could have been better for the safari and enjoy more the hotel. It was during our honeymoon and they made sure everything was pretty special. Special attention from food and beverage manager who seemed to be running the whole place, making sure everything worked out

The property was meticulously curated, and the staff were carefully chosen for their generosity and hospitality. The food and welcome drinks were well prepared; they include selections that I am confident many will try for the first time. Clubbing with safari makes you feel comfortable because they can arrange everything to make your safari trip more convenient. I met Umasha, the safari coordinator; she was excellent and very knowledgable about flora and fauna. Our enjoyable stay at Camp Leopard was made possible by the expertise of the personnel. We spent two nights in this little resort at a lonely beach right next to Yala NP. We just wanted to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. You can stroll along the long beach, collect shells and watch the sea birds. The owner Hansa and his assistant and cook made us feel very comfortable and served us delicious meals and great breakfasts with big fruit plates, once even the Sri Lankan style breakfast. The curries and the fish dishes were outstanding and very tasty! It was a three-course meal every evening cooked just for us! The price for these meals was absolutely okay for us. Hansa is a very knowledgeable person who can tell you a lot of interesting things about life in Sri Lanka if you ask him. We especially enjoyed sleeping outside on the big porch where there are three beds to relax in during day and night. The unforgettable highlight of our stay, however, was watching an elephant at about four o’clock in the morning, eating some leaves from his favorite tree next to the main house and then passing silently by the veranda where we were breathless (and a little nervous) onlookers!

We had an unforgettable two-night stay at Yala Wild House, and I can't recommend it enough! The accommodation is perfectly nestled in the heart of nature, offering an immersive jungle experience. The wildlife here is abundant, with vibrant birds all around and the stunning starry skies at night—a true paradise for nature lovers. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the owner. He is the most welcoming, kind-hearted person you'll ever meet, and his passion for Yala National Park shines through in everything he does. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, even helping us arrange a safari at a very reasonable price. The food was another highlight. The family serves up traditional Sri Lankan dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. Every meal was a delight! If you're looking for a genuine, off-the-beaten-path experience in Yala, Yala Wild House is the place to stay. The combination of great hospitality, incredible surroundings, and delicious food makes it a truly special spot. Highly recommended!

A lovely little oasis just outside the national park. Really good food, friendly staff. They arranged a full day safari trip into Yala for us as well. Great to be able to relax by the pool after a long day searching for elephants and leopards (we saw several elephants but sadly no leopards this time!) While there's no wifi, the manager kindly let us hotspot off his phone when we needed to get online.
