An incredible experience and warm welcome at Turtle Beach Talpe. This beautiful family made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and top class. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Delani is the chef and her food is freshly home cooked as you order. Best Sri Lankan curry and egg hoppers, best food in Talpe. Setting is right on the beach with palm trees and the ocean at your feet. Chilled beers. We hired their scooters and they arranged transfers for us. We only stayed 3 days but felt like family when we left. Shashika made sure everthing was well maintained and lovely cool airconditioned rooms. Perfect location. Thank you we hope we can come back soon.

Absolutely incredible property with the most lovely staff! The staff helped us with anything we needed and were so kind to us and our baby. We stayed in a villa that was separate to the main house which was perfect for our little family. Oh and the food that the manager made was the best food we had in Sri Lanka! Have the chicken curry for dinner!

Where to start? This is THE perfect place to unwind and ground during any time of your vacation. We had already been in Sri Lanka for three weeks and wanted a place away from the beach, surrounded by nature. From the local monkeys, the array of birds, flocks of parrots, and peacocks jumping up on the roof, to the resident kingfisher. The sounds in the morning are spectacular. Then there's the hotel itself, built as an old colonial-style house. The pool area is the perfect place to relax, and the food offered was lovely - we highly recommend the curry (of course). We used our days there to ground, reflect and journal. Thank you to the team for looking after us. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Grateful to the whole team.

First of all the people. Champika and his family were the most hospitable host we've ever met. They took care of us like we were their family and for that, we are thankful. They serve free breakfast. You can also request for lunch/dinner. They prepare everything with fresh ingredients, NO MSG, just spices. They have vegetables and fruits from their garden. It's a budget friendly meal but the food won't disappoint. They prepare 3-4 different varieties of vegetables and meat as per request. The place was a real cinnamon paradise. Their place was full of cinnamon trees and they don't use any chemicals that's why there were always harmless animals that pass by. You can connect with nature here. The location was perfect. It's far from the main road so you'll hear less noise. The room was simply amazing. It was clean and they do housekeeping every 3 days. They also show you how they prepare the cinnamon they sell. You can buy it from them for a very fair amount.
