Our host Saman was very good to us. He took great care of us on our trip. He helped plan our trip and showed us around the area. He was a friendly face around the place. He is a lovely person and we thank him for everything he did for us! The apartment was very close to the airport which was ideal after a long flight to Sri Lanka. Saman met us at the airport and brought us to the apartment. We were able to is the kitchen facilities to cook for ourselves and wash our clothes, which is great when you’re travelling a lot. We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would recommend it to anyone!! 🇮🇪

We spent the night before our early flight in Ayubowan Homestay. And it was perfect! After long traveling, we were warmly welcomed by Amid. We had the opportunity to eat dinner at the homestay, so there was no hustle eating out somewhere with the pouring rain. The room was perfectly clean, had everything you need. Quiet neighborhood. And the breakfast goodie bag and airport transfer topped it all off. Thank you for everything! Would definitely recommend!

Charming Colonial villa from the early 900’, owned by generations of a sweet SriLankan couple, Location is extremely comfortable literally 7 minutes away front the airport by car,very typical SriLankan traditional environment, feels like being home with a beautiful garden surrounding the place.The perfect stay if you arrive late in Colombo or need to leave for an early flight as we did, definitely coming back!the stay was Lovely, and breakfast were fruits from their own trees which were all very sweet and pleasant.

Staying at this hotel was truly a beautiful experience. I originally booked for one night as a transit stay after arriving at the airport, just before continuing my trip — but I ended up extending my stay — that’s how lovely it was. The room was spacious, spotless, and exactly as pictured—calm, comfortable, and full of good energy! The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. But what made this stay unforgettable was the incredible kindness of the owner. She’s a truly wonderful person who went out of her way to make me feel welcome and supported. She helped with my laundry, assisted in planning my trip, stored my luggage while I travelled, and even prepared a thoughtful takeaway lunch for my journey. Her generosity and warmth touched me deeply. I can’t recommend this place highly enough — it’s more than just a hotel, it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. I’ll definitely be staying here again and recommending it to everyone.

Amazing staff. Couldn't be more helpful. Cheap taxi pickup from the airport with clear instructions. Room was very clean and comfortable. And we even got a free ride to the train station.

had a lovely stay there before my flight! The host is incredibly accommodating and speaks good english, when I arrived he had already turned on the a/c in my room which was so nice after a long day on the bus. He also arranged for a tuktuk to take me to the airport in the morning, which arrived right on time. Bed is really comfy and very quiet during the night. Wifi wad very fast.
