The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. I’ve stayed at Oleena Homestay before and loved it, so I’m back again. I like the serenity of the place set among trees and plants and bird songs. And the hosts, Jeewa and Masha are wonderful people with their lovely daughter Oleena. The breakfast were sumptuous and they are able to arrange savoury lunch and dinner 😋. Masha is a great cook. 😍 The garden rooms come with your own private balcony. One may have the food at the balcony or at the nice airy dining hut. Jeewa was able to arrange trips around the area. Excellent hospitality. 😊

Very friendly owners. You could feel like staying at family's home. They were extremely welcoming & helpful. We stayed in 10 hotels in Sri Lanka & that's the cleanest & best one in our opinion. You can tell there is a European owner as everything was clean, including glass windows etc. Very tasty & fresh food every day. Great pool that you can use anytime. Pieceful surroundings, yet close to local attractions like Danbulla or national parks. Nothing walking distance apart of local houses but that's what you want there. Wish we stayed longer at Wanda's & Leo. Recommending to add their hotel to your travel itinerary & you won't be disappointed. Dziękujemy ❤️

I received a warm and friendly welcome, enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared with care, and felt right at home. I highly recommend this place. The owner helped me with tuk-tuk rides to Polonaruwa and Ritigale and patiently waited for me and helped me move from one place to another. I received from them Good recommandation for lunch and dinner. Very beautiful garden where you can enjoy the breakfast and moments you do not go out.

A great place in the jungle and near the station. In the evening, the owner picked us up from the station. Elephants came every night. Very clean and beautiful. There was a wonderful breakfast in the morning. A magical place with a very attentive host.

We had a wonderful stay! Great area to start our Sri Lanka trip. We came in with a very warm welcome. People help with everything. Besides it’s a very pleasant villa with great service, good food and a nice pool to cool down. Best was that the owner took us along in his jeep to show the surrounding!

Our stay in the tree house was lovely. Our host Ruwan was so helpful with organising any excursion or transport we required. Even included us in a family celebration at a retirement village he has supported for 22 years. His main staff person, Isuru, looked after us exceptionally. And Irosh, the safari guide from our villa, gave us a wonderful tour of Habarana Eco Park- we were lucky enough to see several elephants. And Anthony was always happy to take us anywhere we wanted to go. Fond memories of Habarana.

We were very happy to stay in Swan Lake, it's a great place, very nice garden, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Food is great! It's a bit outside of Habarana, but you can easily walk to the village (5 - 10 min) and to the lake nearby. The host is super nice and very accomodating.
