Kumudu was very helpful all the time although we just stayed for one night. We were allowed to use his kitchen without any extra fee. The WIFI also did his job. Showering was able with WARM water.

The stay was amazingly great ! The staff was friendly,caring and professional. The rooms are spacious and with the latest amenities. The view to the pool and to the balconies were breathtaking. When they ask about food preferences one week before the stay, we ask for western food for both dinner and breakfast and they arrange a mouthwatering christmas eve dinner table for our family of 15 people with a three course sit down menu. So the stay went so great and amazing.

The property is right out of a movie! It sits on the top of a hill, It’s clean, has a double height common area, with a small bridge for one of the rooms. There are multiple antiques and items that make the place aesthetically pleasing. The views from our rooms were just mesmerising. Everything is clean and top notch. The breakfast is amazing - a good number of choices and amazing taste. We had our dinner here itself since it was really good. We rented their scooty and it’s in a very good condition. Overall, we are really happy they opened their house to us.

Ayesha prepared such a magnificent and large breakfast every morning, that we were able to take half of it for a packed lunch on our excursions. She made a huge effort to treat us to all the local dishes and added some Western food on the side. They really helped us to have a local experience by directing us how to use local buses and trains. Their house is large and spacious and we had a lot of privacy but also lots of valuable interaction. One of the highlights was the day when Shiva took us to Lion's Rock and afterwards took us for dinner to his family in a nearby village. All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Gorgeous little cabin located off the beaten track in the jungle surrounded by nature. Host was so lovely and welcoming as was her family - and lovely dogs. Cabin was clean and really comfortable - great little touches such as mosquito incense repellent, tea when we arrived and filtered water. The food… some of the best we have had on our trip. The host catered to our veggie dietary requirements happily and made such a delicious Sri Lankan spread for both dinner and breakfast. Great contacts for Tuk Tuk and tea tasting too! Highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back one day soon.
