The surroundings of the camp are just stunning. The gardeners Indika, Upalai and Kumara do a very good job. The area is very quiet and full of birdlife an other animals. Our bushwalks with Nuwan and Dimuth were great, although we could‘nt find any elephants. Kumara led us to a beautiful waterfall where we had e refreshing bath. The service and food cooked by Upalai and Rajitha was excellent. Thanks a lot to all staff - we will come back one day 👋🏼🙏🏻

If you look for nature and serenity this is the perfect place to be. The host just was great and most helpful with tipps and any other whishes. He even cleaned our car, as he thought it was too dirty!!! The food just amazing including special whishes. If you want to be out of the main tourist places and find a really beautiful place - go there!

WE LOVED EVERYTHING!!! GlenMyu Estate in Nikapotha is truly a home from home in the Sri Lankan forest. The house is an architectural gem taking full advantage of the panoramic view, set in beautiful gardens. This is a beautiful place where you'll find yourself in tune with nature in it's fullest glory. Every aspect of 'the Woods' exudes a natural vibe. Lots of wood, clay elements, beautiful plants everywhere. It has clearly been well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. Also there is a beautiful forest that they have partly cultivated and partly kept in it's pristine purity. If you want there are a few waterfalls with natural ponds where you can take a dip. The view from the main building is beautiful and at night there are just a few lights, giving you the feeling that uninhabited places still exist. You really feel like you are in the woods, surrounded by nature. A welcome change from most places where too much has been built. This is really a natural retreat space. Beautiful ❤️

Beautiful, quiet place to stay with huge rooms and attentive staff. Their food was excellent but we could also walk into town for food there. The owner arranged for a tuktuk to pick us up from Horton Plains after Stage 10 of the Pekoe Trail, making transportation much easier since there’s no signal at the park. He also helped me recover a lost hiking pole from a train station which was a life saver! Highly recommend!
