We absolutely loved our stay at this villa Alba in Sri Lanka! The location was perfect — just a short ride from the beach, yet tucked away from the noise, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The villa itself is stylish and cozy, surrounded by lush greenery that gives you the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle. We often spotted peacocks, storks, and other adorable little animals roaming nearby, and the sound of birdsong added to the magical ambiance. The food was exceptional — prepared by a local chef using fresh ingredients, many of which came straight from the surrounding plantation. One dish that stood out was the jackfruit cutlets — absolutely delicious! The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, always making us feel welcome and cared for. We also enjoyed two wonderful massages during our stay — a truly relaxing experience. Our room was beautifully designed, with good air conditioning and a bathroom we especially loved, featuring panoramic glass that looked out into nature. There was a true sense of privacy and comfort — even though the villa was fully booked, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms are well-zoned, and we didn’t hear a sound from the neighbors. All in all, this place left us with such warm memories. We’ll definitely recommend it to our friends — and hopefully come back again ourselves someday.

The high-speed internet access was a godsend, ensuring I could stay connected and manage my work with ease. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing me the freedom to prepare my meals just the way I like. An added convenience was the laundry facility, which was particularly useful during my extended stay. One of the highlights was the property’s proximity to the lake, offering stunning views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find. What made our stay truly special, however, was the lovely couple who own the place. Their warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Their local tips and knowledge were invaluable in making the most of our stay. Large Villa located near the sea with all the amenities you might need for your stay, including a swimming pool in the garden near the beach and a parking space at the entrance. The house has 3 large bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, beds were comfortable and the rooms had AC as well as fans. Wi-Fi was great and the Villa Manager, as well as the rest of the staff, was friendly and ready to help. You can also ask for a delicious breakfast in the morning, something we would recommend!

Just across the road from Kabalana beach! The room is part of a separate small villa so not very social but it feels like your own home. Having a fridge is a huge bonus for cold drinks etc. There is a nice wall light you can turn off from the bed (a rarity in my experience of Sri Lanka). The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. Breakfast is great and very filling I didn’t really eat lunch whilst I was here.
