Very nice and clean room with comfortable beds. The Lady is very kind, she prepared our lunch packages...very yummy. The location is in front of the river. They offer free ride from the pier and back in the morning to reach the boat. Cozy

I was quite surprised to see the quality of the service (after reading some of the latest reviews). Our room was fully furnished and there were no bugs. However, we got a room in Thip Phavan Guesthouse and I don’t know whether this is the usual accommodation offered by Thipphaphone.

Located just up the hill from the pier, made things easy. Right on the street yet quiet. Lovely restaurants nearby and a nice bakery across the road. The owner was patient and helpful. The room was clean, shower hot, bed comfortable.

This is a completely new hostel. Good location 10 minutes from the pier and they will pick you up from the pier by tuktuk. The room has 2 bathrooms. There is a great terrace overlooking the Mekong. They can prepare sandwiches for you on the road - this is very convenient. I spent two days here and if I had time I would have stayed for a week. During the day it is very quiet and peaceful here.

Stayed for one night during the 2 day slow boat to Luang Prabang. Perfect location as it’s a 2 min walk from the pier no need for taxi. Room was really nice and clean, A/C worked well. Made us the most amazing breakfast sandwich the next morning to take onto the boat with us

Such a good spot for the slow boat stop over. The lady offers to make you breakfast and lunch to take on the boat for the next day and the food was unreal. Such a nice view from our room and the room was massive and nice beds and wifi . They pick u up from the boat in a car which is helpful

wonderful spot away from the busy road. perfect for the night, and they even do pick up at the pier even though its really just a 10 min walk
