Exceptional - from pulling up into the lobby the attentiveness, the lovely Okhotsk room with private onsen overlooking the harbour, 24hour lobby lounge access for complimentary drinks and the order to serve dinner and breakfast. The Okhotsk House is very spacious and beautiful. Well located, in the center of Shari, close to all amenities. The house is very pleasant to live in. The Japanese-style room is particularly comfortable and I enjoyed sleeping there. The bathroom is large and perfect for a relaxing moment. There is also a nice kitchen, although I didn't use it. (There are some very good restaurants in Shari!) The heating reinforced the cozy character of the house, while outside you can watch the snow fall. All this in a magnificent setting, because the Shari-Shiretoko region is truly magnificent to discover... The host, from the real estate agency, is very friendly and responded to all my requests. Thank you for this lovely stay in Shari! I would love to come back soon again.

This hotel is wonderful. On top of a Hill, with beautiful view to Utoro City. There's a large lobby with snacks, tea, coffee so after returning from a day excursion, we always spent 30min relaxing at lobby. There's a nice shop with many souvenirs. Onsen was amazing and clean. Many different tubs with different temperatures. Ice cream and pocari sweat available. We didn't have breakfast included but we pay extra for a day and the buffet was simply delicious. Many options and everything we tried was excellent.

Loved this fabulous hotel, very comfortable beds, rooms were very stylish and clean 😀 Buffet meals were varied and the food was excellent. Wish we'd had more time, but could only have two nights on our road trip.

Everything was amazing. The location was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. The staff are very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to assist us on multiple occasions. The facilities, including the onsens, are also wonderful and the food was unbelievably good.

It was a magical experience staying in a beautiful Cob house for the first time. This accomodation was very well designed and seems almost like a cottage from a fairy tale. It has all essentials for a very comfortable family stay including a fully equipped kitchen, and kitchenware. Various beverage sachets and condiments for cooking was provided which is very much appreciated. The accomodation was also set in a nice open space which provided lots of room for children to expend their energy.

The house was just so cute. I think Totoro lives there when it's not being rented out. It was well-equipped too, it has everything you need.
