During our stay at Bettei Haruki, we were delighted by its prime location, just a short walk from some of Beppu’s most beautiful onsens. Our stay at Kannawaen was such a uniqe experience. We booked the room "Take", and it was so worth it having our own pool and other baths. Booked it with dinner and breakfast, and the dinner was one of the best we had on our trip to Japan. It was worth the splurge! Would come back again. We also got a present of two bottles of fine wine for free when we checked out. The hotel is also right beside the Beppu Hells.

The villa and maisonette experience was extraordinary, as both properties have unique views. The maisonette has lovely sea view and the villa has a beautiful small Japanese garden. Both properties are very private and the amenities are excellent. Although our stay was expensive in our view, it is worth the experience and we would love to return to this property again. We also love the private onsen which we used day and night and also we enjoyed wearing the traditional yukata and the thick overcoat which kept us warm during the buggy ride to the gahama seikai tower for breakfast. The breakfast spread was also very good. The housekeeper managed to retrieve my ear stud back button when i told them i lost it. Thank you for the wonderful service!
