All. The room, the onsen, the staff. This hotel allows you to emerge into traditional Japanese experience. Breakfast was a bit challenging for the kids but it was an unforgettable experience they said:-) The area is very calm so no noise to wake you up. Very nice hotel and we would stay longer if we had more time.

I liked everything. very friendly family, helped with all informatikn needed to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. the location is perfect for walking around the old part (10-30min, depending on what you want to see). the rooms was amazing. very clean!!

Very good location in the middle of Gion, in th3 vicinity of Yasaka-Shrine and other religious sites. The process is fully automated so you don't meet any staff. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. A spacy and also very comfortable bed rounded it up for us as we can't sleep well on futons.
