Everything. 1. The owner & manager, muhammad & team welcomed me well at the reception with hot tea & send me to Superior Suite room, the best room type with wadi rum vast view . 2. This camp looks like a resort. They’re beautifully paved with white stones, the rooms tiles looks like 4 stars hotel in the city, The bed mattress was the most comfortable & felt cozy. Even the room is cold, but one i get under the blanket, it was so warm.. 3. The breakfast & Buffet spread was amazing Alhamdulillah. Lots of choices and varities. They served us very tasty Bedouin BBQ chicken, potato and carrot. You should try their Bedouin BBQ dinner. It’s worth the money. It’s for only 11 JD. 4. I took the 6 hours sharing tour with them, just 4 guests from the camp. It’s satisfying. Wadi Rum worth to explore with Jeep. I experience sand boarding, playing volleyball with the bedouins, watching beautiful kinds of mountain shapes, had tasty & fulfilling lunch during the tour. Lastly Faris our tour guide brought us for a nice view of sunset. with this satisfying experience and very nice camp, I really want to visit again next year InshaAllah

This was stunning. Wadi Rum is incredible, and this camp is centrally situated with incredible views. We had perhaps the best suite on the camp at the outer edge, giving us a great sun rise and uninterrupted views of the desert. Staff were excellent, the tour organised thru the camp was terrific with Sultan, a dead set legend, and the food!!! The traditional under ground hangi style mean was epic. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

The location was awesome and all the staff were kind and available. Very good food and nice room. We did the full day jeep tour with Abdullah and he was amazing, very informed about the wadi rum story. He let us cook lunch with him and took us to admire sunset. Highly recommended!

The camp is perfectly located - not too far from the visitor centre yet far enough to experience the desert lifestyle. The tent was very spacious, with a fantastic view, very clean - like the entire camp. The management is outstanding. I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality and making our stay so memorable. We will definitely return. To future travellers, book a 4 hour desert tour, star gazing, and the camel ride in the sunrise as these are the activities which will allow you to experience the desert, its silence, its beauty. The food was very good, and l recommend choosing half-board as there are no shops around you (a good thing actually!). If you are coming with your own car, it has to be left by the nearby gas station, and you will get a free ride through the desert to the camp. Once you are there, forget about everything and let the locals take care of you. You will definitely want to come back.

Adel and his brother and chef were the most gracious hosts. We were picked up and dropped back into town. Breakfast and dinner were an incredible feast. The camp itself is gorgeous- clean, air conditioning, great view. Waking up to the incredible backdrop was a dream. Thank you for our magical stay! Highly recommend!

The camp is very small und private with just 4 bubble tents and everthing is still pretty new, clean and in good condition. It is located in the northern part of Wadi Rum about 10km from the next town in a very secluded area. There are a few camps there, but you don't see them unless you climb on the rocks. It is a really quite and beautiful place. Eid the owner is a very friendly man who takes care that everything works out well. He took care for a smooth arrival, took us to his home, where he explained all the options for tours (jeep/camel) we have and the cost for them. He was never pushy and left everything up to our choice. Dinner and Breakfast were great with many options and more food than we could eat. When we left we were taken to the meeting point with our driver for the onward journey. Besides the tours everything is included, there are no charges for food or beverages or anything. We had a great time at the Wild Oryx Camp and enjoyed true Bedouin hospitality.
