We are a family of 4, parents (50's) and teens (16 and 14). The apartment was wonderful, we rented both rooms so had the place to ourselves, it had everything we needed, we wished we could have stayed longer! Beds were comfortable, the whole apartment was spacious, the decor had a very medieval feel, and we appreciated all the handmade wood furniture. We stayed in July when it was very hot outside but the A/C worked well and we had a comfortable sleep. Located right next to the wall just like the pictures. We ate down the street at Le Mura where the food was good and the staff were wonderful. We explored the walled town the next day for a few hours, an interesting place.

Villa Mari exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very welcoming and helped us out with all of our needs (unexpectedly early arrival, late check-out, etc). The shared bathroom was impeccably clean and palatial in size. Our room was also extremely clean and well cared for. We stayed while there was a heatwave going on, but the AC kept us very cool. They also have a huge garden en patio that you can enjoy. The room we stayed in was very generously sized and again, very very clean. It was honestly an exceptional place to stay in. Also, it is only a short walk to the historic center.
