A great place to stay. Highly recommended! Breathtaking sunsets, very clean rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner. The passion and charm with which Roberto and Rebecca run the Agriturismo Il Favaio cannot be surpassed. They do it with all their heart which even made me shed a tear when saying goodbye. Rebecca and Roberto, you are amazing hosts! We will definitely return! 🇮🇹

Monica was an absolutely beautiful welcoming host! She was always quick to respond to messages/queries. It was a great novelty staying in the walls of the village of Castiglione but having a stunning garden with views of sunset and sunrise from on top of a turret was so spectacular. My 8yo loved running around smelling all the roses. It was so nice to soak up the sun with a view of the lake and surrounding countryside while eating breakfast (which was delicious and substantial). Monica generously offered an adjoining room for us when my husband was a last minute addition. The rooms were clean with a modern bathroom. It was easy access to free parking (Monica will let you know where) and it was close to everything - admittedly the village is tiny but it was peaceful and quiet being away from the main area.

This place was pure relaxation and peace. Beautiful surroundings, a stunning pool, and even the option of a private wine tasting. As wine producers, they also offer bottles directly in the fridge for purchase – a lovely touch! Super dog-friendly – our pup could freely roam around the whole property. A special thank you to the owner – incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. If you want to feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from a telenovela, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! 😄
