I loved the clean and comfortable rooms, and the shared kitchen was well-equipped and convenient for preparing meals. The location was excellent, close to the beach and the charming town of Sauðárkrókur. The views from the top floor were stunning, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for one night, splitting the drive from Thingvelir to Myvatn Lake. - Communication with Iris was great (received all information in advance). We even met before departing from Armuli. - The location of "Armuli" is easy to find / it is well described - Car Parking in front of the house / large place with few steps to the flat / room - The flat is spacious and nicely furnished (living room with sofa / double bed) - Kitchen / dining area well furnished and equiped including fridge and with all what you need (even coffee / sugar was available for us) - Separate sleeping room with double bed and windows, nicely furnished - Bathroom was clean and nicely warm with all towels and stuff needed. - You can find 2-3 kms from there a nice museum --> Glaumbær Thank you for this accomodation.

In fact, it's even hard to find correct words to describe our stay at this beautiful & unique house. Stay at Kolkuos house was one of the main highlight from our trip in Iceland. It's absolutely unique experience. Everything was more than perfect. The house inside is very beautiful, comfortable, super clean, stunning view from the window. I would love to stay much more longer there, because this house has some magic energetic. The feel is definitely like at the end of the world, very calm, relax & cozy.

Accomodation smells fresh & clean. There are extra towels in the bathroom, free coffee and tea. Hot tub with a view, if you like to take a warm bath. Water comes from a natural source via drill hole. Everything was really great, it seemed that there were no other guests during my stay so I could enjoy the overall silence, the stunning view from the window, the sound of the stormy sea A supermarket and fuel station was right there, also the outdoor swimming pool which could be used in the evening

Cleanliness (cleanest we have ever stayed), decor, friendly, helpful staff and the views. The Icelandic horse herding evening and next morning was a real bonus.
