A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark. Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night. The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals. Lovely location outside Reykholt - great for hiking, access to glacier, waterfalls, museums around Rekholt, geothermal springs. Great common space with lots of atmosphere and spaces to sit, play games, have coffee or a glass of wine. Delicious meals served for dinner and breakfast buffet and coffee were perfect. Can’t go past the staff who go above and beyond to help out. LOVED our stay here. Didn’t want to leave.

I really Enjoyed the stay, even though the house itself is not very new. Inside, you will find everything you would need for a short stay, there’s a fully equipped kitchen, small bathroom, one bedroom, and the other bedroom for two additional guests is upstairs in the attic. There is also a living room with different board games available in the TV. The most memorable experience is of course, a hot tub, which is located outside the house on the patio, there is also a barbecue available for guests. A hot tub at is full of water and hot once you arrive, but  you can also add hot or cold water based on your needs. A truly amazing experience, sitting in a hot tub at night looking at a starry sky with no light pollution. We were even lucky enough to see northern lights. I can highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place. Inside, the Scandinavian decor is very pretty, and there's everything you need for cooking. The outdoor hot tub can be adjusted to your desired temperature. Lost in the middle of nowhere, it feels so good there. We also experienced stunning auroras both nights.

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Good location. The cabin had everything we needed for a short stay. Great view on horses and sheep from our window. We could pet the horses which was amazing.
